The FuneralLetterDesigner is an on-line application used to design and customise the funeral letter.

Extra costs to consider will include the number of funeral letters needed for print, flowers and decorations used at the funeral / memorial venue, catering and refreshments required as well as add-on services like organist, church / venue caretaker fees and possible cleaning costs associated with the venue.

Where does the body go prior to the day of the funeral?

Depending on the circumstances relating to the passing, the morgue or funeral home will be called for collection of the body where it will be kept at the Morgue and prepared for the day of the funeral / memorial service.

Is clothing for the deceased needed?

The family of the deceased may choose which clothing to dress the deceased in and must be provided to the funeral home in advance.

What about the funeral venue?

The venue for the funeral / memorial will depend on the religious belief of the deceased or loved ones and can be organised either with the relevant churches, temples or mosques, in accordance with the family’s wishes. Funeral homes also often have a list of frequently used venues or in-house venues. Private home ceremonies or graveyard services may also be considered.

Additionele kostes kan insluit: hoeveelhede briewe vir druk, blomme rangskikkings en dekor tydens die diens, verversings en kos asook ander kostes, soos die van die orrelis, kerkkostes, koster fooie en moontlikke skoonmaak kostes.

Waar gaan die lyk voor die begrafnis / diens?

Afhangende van die omstandighede van die sterfte, sal die staatslykshuis of begrafnisonderneming die lyk van die toneel vergesel en verkoel en voorberrei vir die dag van die begrafnis / diens.

Benodig die ondernemer klere vir die diens?
